Barack Hussein Obama has now won the biggest – and most dangerous – pro-abortion initiative of his administration. Under the cover of “health care reform,” he is set to impose sweeping pro-abortion mandates on employers and citizens, reports the National Right to Life Committee.

As Obama never seems to sleep, he is also hard at work on the nation’s next budget –- and he has goodies for the abortion industry, focusing on legal services and tax dollars for abortion.

Barack Hussein Obama seeks to end the laws preventing pro-abortion activism by the Legal Services Corporation, replacing the laws with bookkeeping requirements that are essentially meaningless, as per the National Right To Life Committee. The Legal Services Corporation, sidelined on the abortion issue, will now be able to make “grants” to pro-abortion groups -- with your tax dollars.

Barack Hussein Obama has been talking the talk that he wants to reduce the number of abortions, find a common ground. While saying this, he is calling for taxpayer-financed abortions in the District of Columbia. The Obama budget replaces the funding ban -- once again -- with a meaningless bookkeeping requirement. Bottom line: more abortions in Washington, DC and paid for by the taxpayers.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has not escaped the notice of Barack Hussein Obama, where he has joined forces with various pro-abortion groups. Recently, he has been pushing for the adoption of language in the outcome document of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) that could be used to create an international right to abortion.

This activity is typical as Barack Hussein Obama has hit the ground running. Right after the election, he was looking ahead and pushing his pro-abortion agenda, issuing a statement: Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration. This pro-abortion wish list runs to fifty-plus pages.

In his first week in office, Barack Hussein Obama announced his suspension of the Mexico City policy. First enacted in 1984, this is to prevent American tax money from funding abortion abroad. He has followed up with pledged support for the pro-abortion United Nations Population Fund [UNFPA]. At the end of February, he began the process to terminate federal conscience regulations -- to force doctors and nurses to perform abortions, regardless of their moral beliefs.

The appointments made by Barack Hussein Obama have been notably pro-abortion. For starters, pro-abortion House member, Rahm Emanuel, who also served on the board of financial melt-down leader Freddie Mac, was named White House Chief of Staff; Ellen Moran of abortion peddling Emily's List, as communications director.

Rabidly pro-abortion Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is assisted by equally pro-abortion James B. Steinberg, as Deputy Secretary of State. Steinberg has stated, testifying before the U. S. Senate, that taxpayer funding of abortion is a must, that the Constitution protects taxpayer dollars for abortion.

Jane Henney, whose main claim to fame is promoting the abortion pill RU-486, is heading up the Federal Drug Administration; while Tim Kaine, pro-abortion governor of Virginia, has taken over the Democratic National Committee; with David Ogden and Thomas Perrelli at the Justice Department.

Barack Hussein Obama's choice to run the Office of the Legal Counsel is pro-abortion bizarro, and former NARAL attorney, Dawn Johnsen. Professor Johnsen has quite seriously equated pregnancy with slavery -- this on the public record in a brief submitted to the Supreme Court!

Barack Hussein Obama has appointed pro-abortion Congressperson turned Clinton-era administrator Leon Panetta to head up the Central Intelligence Agency. This unexpected move surprised many due to Panetta's complete lack of experience in intelligence matters.

When the nomination of defeated pro-abortion senator Thomas Daschle as Secretary of Health and Human Services imploded -- Daschle didn’t pay taxes, among other things -- Barack Hussein Obama tapped pro-abortion Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius, whose leadership NARAL Pro-Choice says “would be a massive step in the right direction for reproductive rights.” Sebelius is so pro-abortion that she even hosted a Governor's Mansion party for late-term abortionist George Tiller.

Having done this, Barack Hussein Obama then turned his attention to embryonic stem cells. Despite the fact that, as reported by the pro-abortion “Washington Post,” skin cells can be morphed in to stem cells, and dental stem cells produced, he has decided to get the federal government backing the use of embryonic stem cells. This raises the question: is euthanasia next on Barack Hussein Obama’s list? More expected!!



Barack Hussein Obama pledged to Planned Parenthood at the start of his presidential campaign that, "The first thing I'd do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act."

It was not only because of this promise that NARAL Pro-Choice America endorsed him, but on the basis of his total and complete pro-abortion record -- rated at 100% by NARAL.

Also early in his campaign, Barack Hussein Obama gave his support to public funding of presidential elections, and favored firm administration and enforcement of federal campaign finance laws. But, during the campaign that followed, Barack Hussein Obama raised a record amount of money, and shifted his views on funding of presidential campaigns, at least his presidential campaign.

Before that campaign ended, Barack Hussein Obama had raised $750,000,000. This was nearly TWICE the amount raised by his opponent, Sen. John McCain. Then, even with this huge expenditure, Barack Hussein Obama won only because of the economic tsunami engulfing the country.

Barack Hussein Obama began his career getting elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996, from the 13th District. At that time, the district covered several Chicago South Side neighborhoods -- and was owned by the Chicago machine of Mayor Richard M. Daley.

Obama first tried to move up in 2000. Then, he lost the primary for the U.S. House of Representatives to Bobby Rush by a margin of two to one.

Barack Hussein Obama did not spend time brooding over his defeat. Instead he decided to go after the seat held by retiring Republican Peter Fitzgerald in the United States Senate. Initially, this race set Barack Hussein Obama against a strong opponent, Jack Ryan. However, the release of Ryan's divorce records, from actress Jeri Ryan, proved fatal to his campaign.

This decision by Judge Robert Schnider generated a lot of controversy, as both Ryans stated this would be not be in the best interests of their young child, Alex Ryan. When these files were released, anyway, Ryan's campaign collapsed and he formally withdrew. Barack Hussein Obama then faced a very much weaker, and underfinanced candidate.

So after a few years in the Illinois State Senate, and a failed Congressional campaign, Barack Hussein Obama was on his way to the US Senate, and the Daley Machine had its man in Washington, DC.

The rest, as they say, is history.
