Manhattan Right To Life Committee: About Us

Manhattan Right to Life Committee:
About Us

The Manhattan Right to Life Committee was founded, in the early 1970's, to oppose legal abortion in New York State.

Then, the United States Supreme Court "discovered" that a right to unlimited abortion on demand was to be found in the Constitution.

In deciding the cases involved, the Supreme Court determined that abortion was required, guaranteed. Thus, abortion, for any reason or for no reason up to nine [9] months, became legal. It is this culture of death that Manhattan Right to Life continues to fight against.

The Manhattan Right to Life Committee is affiliated with the New York State Right to Life Committee, headquartered in Albany, and works closely on national issues with the National Right to Life Committee.

Here at Manhattan Right to Life, in conjunction with the Metropolitan New York Right to Life Foundation, we work to uphold the dignity of every human being, at every stage of biological development, from conception to natural death – regardless of age, degree of perfection, or condition of dependency.

We invite you to join with us in this campaign to restore the protectons of the law to all Americans, especially those least able to speak for themselves, America's unborn children.
